Many hands make light work!

All guests are expected to help keep the lodge clean and tidy for the comfort and enjoyment of other guests.

A lodge captain is appointed each week. The lodge captain will allocate a job to each member/guest. These jobs are to be completed prior to departure.

Jobs include:

• Cleaning women’s bathroom — toilet, showers, floors, mirrors
• Cleaning men’s bathroom – toilet, showers, floors, mirrors
• Sweep, mop & clean front foyer (laundry, ski room, & spare toilet
• Vacuum & mop all halls and stairs
• Kitchen – Sweep & mop kitchen floor
• Kitchen – Clean benches & wipe cupboard doors
• Kitchen – Clean stove, oven & microwave
• Kitchen – Wipe and clean out refrigerators and freezers
• Kitchen – Wipe and clean out pantry
• Kitchen – Wash tea towels and hang up to dry
• Drying room – clean out, sweep & mop.
• Clean and tidy basement
• Shovel front entrance and pathway free of ice and snow
• Shovel snow from veranda
• Clean BBQ

Each person or family is responsible for thoroughly vacuuming and tidying their bedroom at the end of their stay. Quilts and blankets should be neatly folded and re-stacked.
